A Little about me.
Behind the misadventures.
I wanted to write a book for most of my adult life, but circumstance, life, and severe procrastination got in the way. After 20 years of minimum wage jobs and trying to control a form of bipolar disorder, my mother-in-law went to university in her 50s, and I was inspired to attempt to realise my dream finally.
With no formal qualifications, I joined Sunderland universities Foundation degree program, which allowed me to take life experience as qualification with an added years of study. After four years of hard work, which included a new baby for my wife and I and moving house, I finished BA Hons English Creative writing with first-class honours. After some summer soul searching, I am about to return to complete my Masters.
My writing is as varied as my music taste, which is beyond eclectic. All genres are considered when I write, although the conspiratorial elements seem to flow into my creative misadventures.
I am married to the most amazing woman(Future Sociologist focused on the world refugee crisis) and have two of the most beautiful children in the universe. A teenage son with the world at his feet and a daughter who is a toddler genius and the inspiration of the short story( Agent Sophie and the ministry of intelligent babies).
While procrastinating, I enjoy consuming documentaries and movie or tv show which entertains. Currently, 'Archer' is top of the watchlist. I'm also an Xbox gamer and an avid reader currently reading the latest hunger games novel, Songbirds and snakes by Suzanne Collins.
